I almost called this “Best Choice FOO” because on the side of the building, under the “NOW OPEN” sign, it reads “Best Choice FOOds.ca”. I have no idea why “FOO” is capitalised, but “ds.ca” is not.

I came across this gap in the streetscape while walking along Logan this morning. Apparently the people in the lot to the right wanted a bigger yard. Why they would is not clear – they don’t seem to be making any use of it.

I’ve been walking by here with a camera for years, and have made a few attempts at capturing this building, but I’ve never been at all happy with the results. Finally it all came together: the light, the people, even the relatively new tattoo sign.
